FAQs

  • What is MultiMatch?
MultiMatch is a private studio in Cleveland, designed for fun, interactive gaming sessions for all ages and abilities. The studio is exclusively booked for one group at a time, ensuring privacy and a unique experience
  • What ages is the studio suitable for?
The studio is designed for all ages and abilities. We cater to families, groups of friends, and even organisations looking for engaging activities.
  • What are your opening hours?
Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM All sessions must be prebooked.
  • How much does it cost for one player?
We don’t charge per person. The studio is booked as a private hire, accommodating up to 10 people (including players and spectators) per session.
  • What are your prices?
Our prices vary based on the session type and duration. Visit our Sessions Page for detailed pricing.
  • Why is a 2-hour session more expensive than two 1-hour sessions?
Longer hires involve additional preparation, clean-up, and extended exclusivity of the studio, which increases the overall cost.
  • Can I book the 2-hour session for a party instead of the 2.5-hour session?
Yes, absolutely you can book a 2-hour session for a party, although we recommend the 2.5-hour session for a smoother experience. The 2.5-hour session includes an extra 15 minutes before and after for setup and pack-down, which can be particularly helpful for the party host. Our scheduling also allows for quick cleans between 1- or 2-hour sessions, but for the 2.5-hour party sessions, we need to allocate additional cleaning time afterward. This is due to the extra effort required for parties where food, drinks and cake are typically served. By choosing the 2.5-hour session, you can enjoy the celebration without worrying about timing constraints. If you do book a 2 hour session for a party, please let your guests know as our session start and end times are door open-to-close. This ensures we can accommodate all bookings efficiently without disrupting other groups. We encourage you to allow 10 mins at the start and end of your booking to allow enough time to greet and thank guests without feeling rushed.
  • Do you take walk-ins?
No, all sessions must be prebooked as the studio is exclusively booked for one group at a time and to ensure availability for your desired time, you'll need to book.
  • Can I bring more than 10 people?
For safety and comfort, the studio is capped at 10 attendees. In rare cases, we may allow slightly more for younger children, but this requires prior approval. It is the responsibility of the person who booked, and accepted all T&Cs, to maintain the 10 person policy. If more than 10 people arrive for a booked session the booking host will need to make arrangements appropriate for their group. Noting that bookings are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
  • Do you allow drop-off for children?
No, children must be supervised by an adult during their session. We do not provide supervision services, and all sessions are self-paced
  • Can I pay in person?
No, all payments must be made online during the booking process. We do not have cash facilities on site
  • Do you offer any discounts for regular bookings or large groups?
Absolutely we do. Please contact us directly for information on packages or custom bookings, such as long-term club hires or regular group sessions.
  • Why do I need to prebook?
Our studio is exclusively available to one group at a time, so prebooking ensures availability when it suits you.
  • What if I need to cancel my session?
We have a strict non-refundable and non-transferable cancellation policy due to the studio's limited availability and the exclusivity of bookings. Once a session is booked, it is removed from availability for others, which is especially significant during popular times and dates. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. While we cannot guarantee a refund or rebooking, we may consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis for scenarios such as: Medical emergencies: If the participant or an immediate family member is unable to attend due to illness or injury, with appropriate documentation provided. Extreme weather events: For example, severe storms or flooding that make travel unsafe or impossible. Unavoidable transportation disruptions: Such as major vehicle breakdowns or public transport cancellations. We do not consider cancellations due to conflicting family commitments, selecting the incorrect date or time during booking, or changes in availability. Rebooking availability cannot be guaranteed, so we strongly encourage careful planning before securing your session. If you believe your situation warrants an exception, please email us at hello@multimatchcleveland.com.au with your booking details and a brief explanation. Each request will be reviewed individually, but approval is not guaranteed
  • Do you provide party hosting services?
Not currently. While we provide the venue, setup and equipment, the hosting family is responsible for supervising the players and ensuring the party runs smoothly.
  • Can I bring food?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food. For party hires of 2 hours or more, you can also hire our hotdog steamer.
  • Do you sell food or drinks on-site?
We have a self-service fridge with QR-coded drinks available for purchase. Feel free to grab what you need and pay via the QR code. We don't currently sell food or snacks at the studio.
  • Can I bring my own ball or equipment?
You're welcome to BYO sporting items and test this at the studio for it's suitable. This will need to be approved by the Gaming Attendant as some items aren't appropriate for the size or composition of the sensor unit. We prefer you use our balls as they are specifically tested to work with our walls and projection sensors.
